About
A Little About Me:
My name is Michael Valčić. I am currently a college student at CUNY York and I am majoring in history. I was born in and currently live in the borough of Queens in New York City.
My foray into photography came when I received my first camera as a gift from my grandmother when I was around eight years old. I found it so much fun taking photographs and couldn't put the camera down. I would bring it with me on every trip I would go on.
In 2008, I bought my first DSLR, the Olympus E520, which lead me to create this blog a year later. Initially, I just wanted a place to display and share my photographs, but I feel that it has developed into something more than that. Aside from improving my compositional skills, I feel that it has helped me to lose some of my timidness as a person.
I hope that you enjoy viewing my photographs as much as I did shooting them.
